This Shaker White painted kitchen has unique design details that make it a very cozy and practical space. Originally the client requested that an eating bench be maintained in the eating nook, the challenge was to make the bench look like it is part of the new kitchen. The floating shelves on the left of the bifold hutch doors adds warmth and a place to display art work or small plants. The morrocan mosaic green tile gives the kitchen fresh look that ties together the colors in the eating nook, and the garden which is visible through the new bay window above the sink. The dark stained beams also add another traditional element which ties it together with the family room. We were able to include plenty of roll out trays, and other conveniences in a relatively small space making this kitchen not only beautiful but very functional.
